sugar and spice and everything nice
It's weird how fast time goes, yet it also seems like it's stood still. It seems like just yesterday that I was going to the hospital so excited and slightly shaking knowing what lie ahead, but then it seems like it's been forever since I've had a full nights sleep. :) On Friday, Scarlette will be 8 weeks old. Then in a little more than a week, it will be her 2 month birthday. She is getting so big! We have doctors appointment so we will see how much she has grown, but I know it will be a lot. She is finally fitting into some of her 0-3 month clothes instead of just newborn size. She actually has almost outgrown some of those. She can hold her head up on her own when she's sitting, not yet when she's on her tummy and she spends a lot of time awake now, a lot of times late at night. :\ When she sleeps she is always making faces. Its the cutest thing, but I never seem to have a camera when she's doing it, and when I do have one, she doesn't make them. She's already being difficult! Scarlette still has LOTS of hair and it is still red. I really hope it stays red. It would be fun to have a red head in the family. And she got my blue eyes and long eyelashes. She's gonna be such a pretty girl! :)

she's so cute, sarah! i think cash is three times her size. but that's probably a good thing, because if she has a temper like all the scarlett's i've ever known (which is pretty much only scarlett o'hare from "gone with the wind") he needs to have some weight to throw around. he might not have any quick comebacks to her cutting remarks, but at least he'll be able to sit on her.
well we went to the dr and she weighs 8 pounds 7 ounces. cash better not be too much bigger or your muscles are gonna resemble a WWF wrestlers from carrying him around all day.
Scarlette, you are beautiful! and getting so big! She is definitely sugar and not the spice. Cute pics, Sar. Keep trying to capture her sleeping time faces.
