We had a little halloween get together yesterday. My sister, sister in law & cousin came with their kids to celebrate. We had a spooky lunch, made hand print spiders and dressed up in costume to take a picture. We had a lot of fun with our cousins!

Scarlette is my little artist. She draws me pictures daily, writes me notes and now has started to make me books. While cleaning the other night I found this on the counter. I remember her telling me earlier that she had made me a book for me to read, but I asked her to set it down for me to look at later as I was in the middle of doing something at the time. Now, after reading what she wrote, I wish I had taken the time to read it right then. I wish I had hugged her and told her how much I loved the book. My little girl is growing up so fast and sometimes I feel like I can't keep up with her.

My dear brother has chastised me for not posting for months, so I have decided to get at it. I will be back tracking my post over the past couple months. I will post them at the time of the events so make sure you look back. Sorry everyone for being such a slacker since JULY!!!! horrible, I know.

oak glen 2012

We went to Oak Glen over the weekend. We picked apples and enjoyed the beautiful cool(er) weather. FINALLY!

Mason loved picking apples!! He would go to a tree, pick his apple and start eating it.  

We had so much fun! We love going to Oak Glen every year!

I made my mom's famous cookie recipe the other day, but instead of the usual only chocolate chips, I added peanut butter chips as well. They turned out soo yummy!!! I know some people [jonathan] will say that I ruined them, but I promise they were good.
