where did you meet your husband?
i met john at a mutual friends engagement party. we talked the whole time and had such a fun time that a week later we went on a date and have been together since.

what was the first thing you said to your husband?
he had his phone ( a sidekick) on the table and i wanted to play with it so i probably asked if i could. then i put my birthday on his calender since it was getting close and told him he had to be sure to tell me happy birthday. i made sure to set the alarm for 12am the morning of so it would wake him up. :)

where was the first kiss? First date?
on our first date john picked me up from my soccer game and we went to ontario mills and i did some shopping and we went and saw batman begins.

did you have a long or short courtship/engagement?
we got married a little over 1 year after we started dating.

where did you get engaged?
at the beach. we were sitting on the jetties watching the sun set and he made me get up to move to another spot but then instead of moving, he stayed down on his knee and asked me to be his wife!

where did you get married?
at my parents house

How did the reception go?
it was wonderful. the day was a little muggy so i was getting kinda hot under my poofy dress. but everything looked wonderful. we had it at my parents house also. we were having so much fun people started leaving and the photographer wanted to go and we still hadnt done our exit yet. so really by the time we left it was only family wishing us farewell, but that was just fine with me.

How was the honeymoon?
our first night as hubby and wifey we went to the Fairmont in Newport Beach. it was kinda funny. we arrived at the hotel still in our wedding clothes so the girls at the checkin counter were loving my dress. john went to check that valet was getting the car and some security guard guy came up to me and said " ma'am i notice your dress has a corset back. if you need any assistance with that just let us know" i was kinda taken back and told him i think i could manage. they must get great service reviews!

then the next week john and i set off on our honeymoon. we drove up the coast stopping at pismo beach the first night. we had breakfast at the honeymoon cafe. how appropiate. then we went to monterey and went to the aquarium. then we passed through san jose to go to the winchester house and had lunch with my mom and sisters at my sister Ashley's house. my mom was on her way up to oregon. next we stayed in SF for 2 days. that was lots of fun. we went to the palace of fine arts and the exploratorium which i knew john would love. then i decided i wanted to walk up to lombard street. i didnt know how far or how steep those hills were. but we made it and then went to fishermans wharf and got some yummy boudin bread and i got my irish engagement ring. i had always wanted one. then from there we went and spent a night in medford and then made it to my grandmas house in Silverton, OR for our family reunion.
