up, up & almost away!

This photo was taken August 27th when Mason was 4 1/2 months. This was one of the first times Mason got up on his hands and knees completely for a few seconds. He then lunged forward to get that toy in front of him. After this he now gets him self all over the place. I will get a video if his "crawl". He doesn't quite have the hang of lifting up his hands to move forward. Instead, he gets up on his hands & knees, moves his knees forward and lunges his body forward. Then he repeats. He is very good at it and can get everywhere now. He is a mobile baby... The only problem is that sometimes he gets to where he wants to go and that place is close to the couch or wall and when he finishes his last lunge he hits his head. Poor guy.
