good bye summer.

The end of summer is always a little sad for me. Being a Southern California girl, I love the summer. But also being a Southern California girl I live in a place that, let's face it, is pretty much always "summer". Now that may be some people's heaven, and don't get me wrong. I ♥ summer! But sometimes I find myself wishing for the colder weather so I can break out the scarves, hats and gloves and bundle up in front of a warm fire. Yes. That is what I wish for when it is "fall" and still in the 90's.

I don't remember learning these kinds of math problems in 1st grade. Maybe if they started us this early we would all be genius level.

I bet Ashley could have done them. :)



*UPDATE*
John just told me that I was over complicating this problem. I was imagining the three points forming a triangle meaning you need to use Pythagorean theorem or some other kind of geometry equation to solve it. John told me it was probably just a straight line so all you do is 2 x 5...oh well. I still think they are going to easy on the kids in math classes.
