HAPPY EASTER!!!

easter weekend.

I know I'm kinda late in getting my Easter posts up. oh well. here goes..

Saturday we got up nice & early to go to the city egg hunt. S was supposed to be in the 0-3 group but they were having everyone line up so they could HAND us a bag of candy... lame! My little girl wanted to hunt eggs! not get handouts! So we snuck her in the 4-6 yr olds and let her go crazy. She did really good. She ran right out, set down her basket and started grabbing candy with both hands! It was a fun day.

Easter Sunday.

Our Easter was a very busy, very fun day. First we woke up and checked out our basket. (the ghirardelli chocolate was for john & me. not Scarlette.) After that Scarlette & I headed out to go to church with my parents. Scarlette LOVED nursery and didn't even care when I left. Then I went and picked up John and we drove to my Grandma's house with my parents and had Easter dinner with the family. We hid some eggs for Scarlette to find in the backyard. She had so much fun!! It was a wonderful Easter!












This is the cheesecake my mom & I made. I made the cheesecake (it was my first time ever! i was nervous!) and she decorated the top. It turned out fantastic.

--I don't call myself an expert, but my friends tell me I am quite the baker.-- haha. who gets that??

dying eggs.

Scarlette had soooo much fun dying eggs! The egg dye we used made the eggs so bright! the colors were amazing. But after they sat for a few minutes the colors started soaking into the eggs and changing. It was weird.
