Yesterday we went to the beach with Michael, Lucero and Joel. It was hot at home but when we got to the beach it had cooled down alot. It was fun still. The water was pretty cold so we didn't spend too much time in it. Scarlette did like it a little better than last time. She didn't cry, which is an improvement. We mostly sat on the blankets or played in the sand.

After the beach we went to see Erin & Cliff and went out to dinner to Taco Rosa. The dinner was excellent. But the best part was the dessert: sopiapilla. Mmmmmmmm. So good. It's a fried dough square that puffs up and you break it open and put ice cream, chocolate and agave nectar in it. ( I found a recipe here. We're gonna try making them, I'll let everyone know how they turn out). Joel really seemed to enjoy them! :)

Cute pictures. Those are lucky kids who don't have to be bundled up on the beach. Is that what Michael and Joel look like? It's been so long, I wouldn't know.
I'm with Carolyn. You and Kat have been holding out on us for too long. How do you change your header to be fun and original like that? And please don't say you used photoshop because I don't have it, and I can't afford it! There has to be another way!
uh, sorry jocelyn... it's all photoshop. and then, at least the way i do it, you save your .jpg to the public html files on a non-blogger related web site and then edit your blog HTML to include the web address for the header. i was lucky enought to have a very patient and computer savvy friend pass along this trick.
