We got to spend the weekend at the Newport Coast Villas with my parents.
We had such a good time! We went swimming in the rain, walked on the beach, enjoyed Ruby's Shake Shack & had lots of fun with our family.

Mason had his first time swimming in the pool and his first beach trip. I decided he definitely has my genes for the beach. His first time putting his toes in the water he laughed. He ran around playing in the sand, eating it and flipping it everywhere. Total opposite of Scarlette's first beach trip. Even now Scarlette still doesn't really like the water and kept asking me to get her a wipe for the sand on her hands. Maybe we can work on that this summer. :)
Thanks for the fun weekend mom & dad! We sure do miss you!

looks like a gorgeous beach trip. i loved the blast to the past with scarlette's first beach trip- she was so cute! i'm glad mason likes the beach!
jealous. especially since that week was also Maggie's Spring Break at school, so I totally could've hopped on a plane and come out to Cali to play with you all. Instead I had to think of ideas to entertain her here. It was a long week.
I cant believe you all went swimming. It was so cold!
