discoveries...

We went to Disneyland with some friends the other day. I made two discoveries. The first was while going to California Adventure. I was always bummed that they didn't have DISNEYLAND written out in huge letters like they did CALIFORNIA for California Adventure because I wanted to be cool and have my picture taken on the S. But then I realized... my last name starts with L!!! I can totally take a picture!! so we did. :)

My second discovery.... was that my daughter thinks she's a backstreet boy....

i don't know where she gets it from! :)

the birthday...

Yesterday was Scarlette's birthday!!! We spent the day at Disneyland! She had so much fun. She saw Pluto, Mickey, Mrs. Claus, & Santa!!! We expected her to be afraid of Santa, but we told her she would get candy if she smiled and wasn't afraid. When we got to the front of the line she ran to Santa and gave him a HUGE hug & jumped up on his lap. She told him she wanted a polar bear. It was cute. We went on lots of rides. It's a Small World was so pretty all decorated in Christmas. We got to see the fireworks and the snow!! It was so pretty! It was a birthday well spent! Scarlette had lots of fun.

a girls night out..

Last week I went with a couple friends of mine to Disneyland and California Adventure for a girls night out. It was lots of fun to just go and not have to worry about dragging kids around with us. :) We tested out all the rides making sure the kids would like them when we brought them back.

They have a mini Palace of Fine Arts!

This trip to Disneyland was different that the ones before... it was the beginning of the time old tradition of waiting, hoping, measuring and trying to grow to be able to ride the BIG RIDES! That's right. Scarlette went on her first BIG ride! It was.....

For my birthday Scarlette, my mom and I went to Disneyland. It was so much fun!!

My sisters and their families are down visiting this week so we decided to have a family trip to Disneyland

It was quite a day. We met the fairy godmother

i love what addie's camera does. i need to get one that does this. the last pic is of scarlette very excited on the casey jr train. she really loved it.

on saturday, scarlette had her first trip to disneyland. it was so much fun. we only stayed for half a day and only went on a couple rides. but she loved it. well, she didn't like the pinocchio ride when it got dark and scary. but she loved the casey jr train ride. she got so excited. she also liked visiting mickey and minnie's house. i can't wait to go again.
