Scarlette had all her friends over for a valentine's play day. They all played and decorated heart picture frames & ate lots of sweets!

i forgot to post pictures of the valentine's soaps that S and I made to give away. It was so easy! I got directions HERE. It really only tooks us about an hour from start to finished & packaged up final product.

february 2006.

prepping for + day.

So I know that Valentine's Day is still about a month away. I've had a few projects in mind for things to make with S, but I've been waiting till a little bit closer to make them so that the fun doesn't wear off before Feb 14th. But when I saw THIS I went straight up to my sewing machine and made some. They are so adorable & so easy!!! My favorite combo! :)

I'm so excited for Valentine's day now.

i love valentine's day. why?
because i love getting flowers...


making heart shaped cookies...


and getting boxes of chocolates...


and getting scarlette dressed up in cute shirts....


but most of all i love that we dedicate one whole day to making sure we tell our loved ones that we do indeed love them. yes, it should be shown 24/7. but this is just a day to especially remind them.
