great minds...

They say that great minds think alike. Well, John and I must have very great minds. So many times we have been in the car, or anywhere for that matter, and we both say the same random thing at the same time. Or John will say something that I had just on the tip of my tongue. I will often say something and John will look at me and say, "I was just thinking that". We always laugh and tell each other to get out of our heads, but today was the weirdest of all. John woke up to get ready for work. i always get woken up but just stay in bed, then fall back asleep after he leaves. This morning as I was laying in bed I started singing the lyrics to a Red Hot Chili Peppers song. Snow to be precise. As John was getting ready he went out to the kitchen and called back to me " Dangit. I have Red Hot Chili Peppers stuck in my head." .... "Which song??" I asked. "The one that goes hey ohhh listen what I say ohhh" I started laughing so hard and told John that I had just been singing that while I was laying here. So really, how wierd is it that we both woke up with the same song stuck in our heads????

Our Honeymoon

For the honeymoon we drove up to Oregon. We stopped the first night in Pismo Beach and had breakfast at the "Honeymoon Cafe" ! :) Then we went to Monterey. We went to the Aquarium and to Pebble Beach. John LOVED the tanks at the aquarium. We stayed in Monterey one night. The next day we met up with my mom at my sisters house in Fremont and had lunch then went to the Winchester house in San Jose. It was really cool. The architecture was so elaborate. Then we drove onto San Francisco. We stayed there 2 nights. We went to the Palace of Fine arts and walked up Lombard Street. I didn't realize how many hills there were when I suggested this. But we made it and went to Fishermans Wharf and got some wonderful Boudin sourdough. From SF we went to Medford OR and spent the night. Then we went the rest of the way to my g-mas house in Silverton OR. We had a big family reunion. John got to meet my entire family.
We went camping. It was lots of fun. My family had a baby shower for me and my sister Kat. I got a lot of really cute things! :D.

The beginning

So I thought I would start this blog page to keep everyone posted on the ever so exciting happenings of our lives. So I will start at the beginning. The wedding.

While I was upstairs getting ready, and sweating under my big poofy dress john was enjoying ice cream. Nice of him huh?
