We went from having a freezing cold thanksgiving in Oregon to an 80º Thanksgiving in CA. It was fun though to get to eat a fabulous meal again!

thanksgiving part 1: oregon

Our Thanksgiving was a fun one this year. The kids & I went up to Oregon to have Thanksgiving with my family. It was a fun trip. We had our Thanksgiving dinner Wednesday instead of Thursday since so many of us were leaving Friday morning. It was fun to have that extra day of relaxing.

I know I'm a little late in getting my Thanksgiving post up but better late than never. Our Thanksgiving was a whirlwind of fun! We had family come down to visit and there was never a dull moment. We ate yummy food, celebrated birthdays, ate yummy food, went to downtown LA, ate yummy food.... notice a trend? I think I can safely say that all the exercising I have been doing has gone to waste. I probably ate my weight in yummy food. I had the privilege of getting not one, but TWO Thanksgiving dinners. It was fantastic! Anyway, here are some pics to document our weekend.

We had Thanksgiving at my mom's this year. Then we had a second Thanksgiving the next day at John's dads house. I didn't have my camera at the second dinner, but let me tell you it was delish!! Here are some pics from my moms though...

Thanksgiving Weekend.

This Thanksgiving has been one to remember. Not because of huge disasters or hilarious moments ( although those did occur...the hilarious moments, not the disaters.) , but because it will be the last holiday in my parents Claremont house. Soon they will be leaving the California home behind and venturing to Oregon. It's a sad yet happy thing to think about. But we're all happy for them. With Kathryn down visiting we had lots of fun watching all the little kids play. Of course we did crafts, we went to the Aquarium of the Pacific, we ate lots of yummy food and had tons of laughs. It was a great Thanksgiving.
