la mia bocca è nell'amore

first off... if anyone knows Italian, i'm sorry if i butchered the title. i used babelfish.

second... seriously. we went to Italian food the other day. yes, even though john's been in italy for a month and just went back there, we went to Italian. this place was the.best.ever! it's called Raviolis and the first bite i took my mouth was in heaven! i highly recommend it. this is what i got...

Ravioli di Spinaci alla Checca
Raviolis filled with garlic, spinach and cheese,
tossed with sautéed garlic and fresh chopped tomatoes;
served in fresh basil white wine sauce.

one year.

As a one year old, Scarlette is learning all the joys that come with the age. She gets to eat all sorts of new things. Peanut butter, honey, milk. All wonderful treats... well not honey. I don't like it. So she hasn't tried it yet. But I digress, back to peanut butter. She did have her very first peanut butter & jelly sandwich. I was so sure that she was going to devour it. It was going to light up her eyes and she would beg for more. Of course this wasn't how it went. She did like it. Just not as much as I was sure she would. She ate a few bites, but then became interested in the orange I was eating and decided she wanted that instead.... which then gave her a diaper rash. It was quite disappointing.
